Post 6: Haiti

The day before news of the big Haiti quake struck, I was reading Tim Ferris' "4 Hour Workweek" and vowed to take his challenge of not watching/reading the news. Maybe this was a blessing in disguise for me.

On Discovery Channel, Michelle Obama has been coming on at almost every commercial break to talk about Haiti and the disturbing pictures of the quake. She warned me. I didn't pay attention though - I was much more focused on her eyes, watching them dart back and forth across the que cards. I'm weird like that.

So, when the news of an aftermath in Haiti struck me (ok ok my computer 'home' site is ksl) I thought it was time to man up and look.
