when i was a younger version of myself, i caught some documentary type show of weird deaths. spontaneous human combustion was one of these deaths highlighted, specifically the death of Mary Reeser. she just went up into flames, sitting in her Lazy Boy Chair.
my fear of spontaneously combusting was born.
i was terrified that i could possibly just burst into flames. and guess what? apparently this is real. rare, but real.
or that is what chuck and josh from the howstuffworks.com podcast tell me.
"the flames were coming from her mouth like a dragon, and they were making a roaring noise." that is the father who watched his daughter spontaneously combust in 1982.
i still remain scared to spontaneously combust. but if i do, i hope i do it in public, so that people can make statements like above.
at least i'll go out with a bang. HA HA.
